So here’s the question: Is an Erin Condren Teacher Lesson Planner really worth the money?
I’ve been using an Erin Condren TLP for about 5 years now, and each year the EC team make updates whether in design, organization, or features. Every year when it comes time to getting a new lesson planner, I scour the internet for my options, and yet I keep coming back to Erin Condren.

What if I submit my lesson plans online?
Me too! I’ve had to type digital lesson plans for longer than I’ve been using an Erin Condren TLP! However, I’m really a paper/pencil kind of girl. And here’s the honest truth: I type my lesson plans and submit them, but I don’t look at them. Ever! I DO, however, refer to my TLP all.the.time. I basically don’t leave home or school without it! (Seriously, I’ve had to turn around to get it!)
What’s my planning process like?
I actually start with my EC TLP. I write down what I’m doing in each subject. Like the big idea, or essential question. I don’t need the teaching methods, materials (unless it’s something really special or out of the norm), standards, etc…after I have my week mapped out, then I type my lesson plans in whatever format is required.
But the price tag?
Here’s the thing, you get what you pay for. Also, take a look at comparable teacher lesson planners, and most of them fall within the $45 – $60 range. To me, Erin Condren products are worth every.single.penny. I appreciate that this planner can hold up to the constant wear and tear of living the teacher life. Not to mention, the constant in and out of my teacher bag.
